The Super Bowl is one of the most anticipated sports events of the year, and it's not just about the game. Sure, the game is a big deal and all, but some of us aren't even all that into football. But we love a good big game gathering because of the food and company. It's a great time to bond with family and friends while watching the game and feasting on tasty food. Oh, and even though the event is about American football, that doesn't mean that the food can't be infused with Latin flavors. So we've gathered some great recipes with foods inspired by countries as varied as Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic, among others.

This year, we invite you to try out these recipes and enjoy them with your loved ones. Some will be familiar to you, but don't be afraid to try ones that you have never made or even eaten before. Pick from exquisite Ecuadorian shrimp ceviche, Venezuelan-style cachapas, Colombian arepitas, and churros. There's even a dip that's really more of a US dish than a Mexican dish but is a clear ode to Mexican flavors. Enjoy!
