Whoever says that eating healthy isn't fun definitely hasn't spiked a smoothie before. If that sounds weird to you, don't knock it til you try it because it's better than most of the cocktails made at your favorite bar and way more nutritious, too.

Making an alcohol-infused smoothie is pretty simple and most of them require the same steps as any other smoothie you'd make. Basically, you'll throw some fruits and veggies into a blender, but instead you'll add your favorite liquor, too–tequila, whiskey, rum, whatever your buzz-wanting heart desires.

A boozy smoothie lets you achieve a slight buzz, while reaping all the nutritional benefits of your favorite fruits and veggies. Some smoothies obviously have more calories than others, so this tasty drink might qualify as a snack or cheat treat, which is something to keep in mind if you're watching your calories.

While most diets might have you avoid liquor at all costs, a few ounces of liquor in a smoothie is way better than having a margarita made with countless grams of sugar and salt. The perk of making a drink yourself is that you know exactly what ingredients are going into it. Some bars pre-make their mixtures and there's no way to tell how nutritious (or likely not) your drink is. Plus, how many bars can you name that make boozy smoothies? Probably not too many.

A spiked smoothie is the perfect end to a long day or a tasty treat in the morning. We won't tell.

If you're running low on ideas of smoothies to make, here are 22 recipes for boozy smoothies that would definitely make a sweet treat or you can go ahead and start experimenting with different ingredients to see what you can come up with. Cheers!
