Easy Mexican salsa taquera you can make in 10 minutes!

My absolute favorite foods are salsas that you can eat with tacos, sopes, arepas, salads, meats, poultry, fish … and I love them even more when I don't have to cook a thing! Like this salsa taquera that I made with Chef Lorena García's recipe, which is ready in 10 minutes or less. It's the simplest yummy recipe you'll ever try!

This salsa is made with raw tomatoes and like I mentioned, you don't have to cook any part of it. One important tip: Don't make it and eat it right away. Let it rest in the fridge for a few hours (discard after three days though). Check it out and let me know what you think!

Salsa taquera
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
2 tomatoes cut in quarters
1/4 of a jalapeño
1 onion
2 tsps. salt
2 tbsps. olive oil
3-4 oregano leaves

To make:
1. Put all ingredients, except the oil and the oregano, in a blender and blend until everything is well mixed.

2. Add olive oil and oregano and blend another 10 seconds.

3. Enjoy!
