Latin slow cooker: Chicken, black bean, and sweet potato stew

Wouldn't it be great if after a long day of doing whatever it is you are doing, that dinner would magically appear? There are no dinner fairies, but a slow cooker comes as close to a dinner fairy as possible. This chicken, black bean, and sweet potato stew takes 25 minutes to prepare and 4 hours and 10 minutes to cook.

During the time that the stew cooks, you could be off conquering the world, laundry, or inventing an actual dinner fairy. When you are done, imagine the smells of cumin, allspice, cilantro, and garlic tantalizing your nose. All that is left to do is gather around the table and eat while you tell tales of all that you have accomplished in your day. Doesn't that sound marvelous? Also, if you are the one that took the 25 minutes to prep the meal, it seems only reasonable that it should be up to someone else to do the dishes after dinner. Enter the dish-washing fairy. Please tell me that fairy exists.
