These days, it seems everyone is all too Instagram-happy (hence the rise of selfies). But now, a cool, new beauty app is giving people the chance to display their favorite Insta-photos in a different way–on their nails!
The app, called NailSnaps, allows users to create nail stickers using their personal photos. That's right! That picture you snapped of the flowers outside your house or of a pretty beach? You can now wear display those on your hands, instead of on your phone or your walls!

So how exactly does NailSnaps work? Basically, users pull the photo they want and then position it over a set of digital nails to preview the final product. It can be the same photo on every nail or a continuous design that becomes whole when you hold your fingers side-by-side. The stickers are then printed and shipped worldwide to wherever you are. Kinda cool, right?
I gotta admit, I'm not a huge nail sticker person. In fact, I typically just stick to good, old-fashioned Essie nail polish. But there are certain photos of designs or interesting prints that I could see looking awesome on my nails, thanks to this app. And hey, at least you know no one will be rocking the same nails as you!
Plus, the app could also have more hi-tech abilities too. For example, a manicure might include code that users could scan with their phones in order to pull up a certain website or a certain design could use electronic chips to control things like lights or temperature in a room. Can you imagine? It's every nail art addict's dream.
Funds for the app are still being raised on Kickstarter, but it is expected to launch this fall for iOS devices, with an Android version coming later. And just in case you needed any more motivation to try it out, the app is free and the stickers are just under $20! Sounds like a good deal to me!
