Going blonde: How to get the best shade for your skin tone

Naya Rivera debuted her newly blonde locks last night at the 2014 People's Choice Awards and I have to admit, I'm sort of digging it! The Glee star has been sporting dark hair practically since the beginning of her career, so it was shocking to see her go so much lighter. I was also surprised at how well it complimented her naturally tan complexion. Just goes to show that anyone could go blonde. It's all about finding the right shade for your skin tone!

After all these years of sporting raven-colored strands, I wonder what made Naya want to suddenly go blonde. Maybe the bride-to-be wanted to spice things up for her wedding? I'm not too sure, but that warm caramel shade looks great on her. Even though I must add, that the nude, white, and black colorblock dress she chose to pair it with last night wasn't the best choice. Nude and blonde equals totally washed out!

Thinking of going blonde? You totally can! But just remember to keep in mind that one shade doesn't fit all. It's all about finding that blonde color that works best for you. Check out a few of our other Latina celebs who have gone blonde and find out what shade works best for your skin tone!
